Founder's Statement
I built Sierra Claymore Advisory to give public servants, politicians, and institutions the kind of strategic support they should’ve had all along. Advice that is grounded, sharp, and actually connected to the people they claim to serve. I’ve seen complacency in the public sector: lazy messaging, stale thinking, and a smug detachment from real public opinion. This is simply not good enough.
This firm exists to help leaders craft strategies that are both popular and transformative. Operations that do not talk down to clients and never using spin. We listen first. We believe the public isn’t just capable of engaging with policy but they often have better ideas than the experts. Sierra Claymore is here to bridge that gap, cut through the noise, and build presence that earns trust, not just attention.
We also offer expert human relations and project management because ideas alone don’t move institutions. We manage people, timelines, and deliverables in ways that disrupt stagnation and keep operations pushing forward. Whether it’s briefing documents, stakeholder coordination, or keeping goals on track, Sierra Claymore delivers clarity and momentum. That applies across sectors, including the private sector where the stakes are high, the pace is can be unforgiving, and the need for grounded strategy is vital.

Profile in Action
I’ve spent the last decade moving between research, reform, and real-world impact. From projects that gave voice to Black social workers navigating broken systems, to deep dives into industrial action and public engagement, my work has always been about surfacing what institutions overlook and helping them achieve more.
I’ve advised councils, built research platforms, and presented across the UK’s top universities. I’ve led projects funded by the National Lottery, published in peer reviewed journals, and built websites that translate academic insight into public strategy. Whether it’s briefing policymakers, managing personnel, or keeping deliverables sharp and on track, I operate with clarity and consequence.
My background spans history, sociology, and public policy, with degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz and the University of St Andrews, with a PhD focused on industrial action and institutional response. I’ve worked across the UK and US, and I’m ready to bring that cross-sector fluency to energy, governance, and beyond.
Originally from California, and I’ve worked across the UK and US building research platforms, advising councils, and briefing policymakers. I come from a background that’s seen both the promise and the failure of public institutions up close. That’s why I built Sierra Claymore to make systems work deliver more.
Now based in Aberdeen, I’m positioned to support energy sector leaders, public institutions, and political operators who need grounded strategy and operational clarity.

Firm Ethos
Clarity We don’t deal in vague ideas and we despise empty jargon. Our strategies are sharp, grounded, and built to move people and institutions with purpose. When we speak, it’s with intent.
Strength We deliver. Whether it’s managing teams, coordinating timelines, or producing documents that actually land, Sierra Claymore keeps projects focused, moving, and built to last.
Authenticity We don’t talk down. We listen first. Our messaging connects because it’s real—crafted to resonate with voters, stakeholders, and decision-makers alike. Trusted execution. Measurable impact.
Responsibility We care because we’re rooted here. Sierra Claymore operates with a deep sense of responsibility for the institutions we advise, the communities we engage, and the country we represent. This isn’t just work. It’s stewardship.
Civic Presence We believe strategy should serve something bigger than itself. That means showing up with with intent, and delivering outcomes that respect the people and places we work with. From energy corridors to policy chambers, we take our role seriously because this land, the public, this moment deserves better than drift..

Legacy and Optionality
Sierra Claymore stands on a foundation shaped by both American and British public life. I come from California, where institutional dysfunction isn’t abstract—it’s lived. I’ve carried that insight across the Atlantic, building platforms, advising councils, and briefing policymakers throughout the UK.
That dual perspective gives Sierra Claymore range. We operate across political, energy, and institutional domains—not as outsiders, but as embedded strategists. Whether navigating FOI escalation, shaping public messaging, or supporting energy sector transitions, we bring cross-sector fluency and operational clarity.
This isn’t just legacy. It’s leverage. And we use it to move things forward.

“Strategy should serve something bigger than itself. That’s why I built this.”
